With diminishing eyesight and a decrease in digit dexterity, the idea of wrestling with small flies and light-weight transparent line didn't seem very appealing. Then I found the Ty-Rite Jr. , the Magnetic Tippet Threader, and the Tie-Fast Knot Tyer ... small fly tying problem solved. The Tippet Threader allows a half-blind person (I'm close) to push tappered tippet through the eye of the hook on very small flies easily. Once the line is through the eye, the Ty-Rite Jr. makes tying off the lure end of the tippet a breeze. The Tie-Fast Knot Tyer makes securing the other end of the tippet to the line with a nail knot a no-brainer.

Just a handy piece of equipment that is a must for easy tying of all sizes of flies. Just got it and it works great.

This is a must have for any fly fisherman. I use it everytime I go fishing . It is great when your hands are cold and have to tying on your flies. So get yourself 1 or 2. It would be a great gift for the fly fisherman in your life or yourself.
