great and quick for fly fishing The twist on lead weights are great for the rapids and deeper holes on streams when fishing for steelhead and salmon. The weight twsts on in line with the leader, and there isn't any bulky split shot. Fast and easy to place on the line. March 27, 2012
Excellent product and cost!!! I have been using these for years and they are my go to weight for fly fishing. They help to get the line down deep for steelhead and salmon with little added resistance to the leader. November 29, 2014
Amazed. I'd been wondering how to keep a weight in place and removable without damaging my tippet. These went on easy and stayed in place and I can use just as much as I need. But once, you take em off your line you'll need to store em in separate container, whereas splitshot you just put back in the container. Be nice if someone could come up with a non lead version.
