I am very satisfied with the primer and epoxy products. It was very easy to apply and with it being a water based product,it was a breeze to clean my rollers and brushes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Gldoss Good product with the right instructions
I received this product , it comes in a 2part mix , resin and hardener, the directions on the product were somewhat confusing to follow about mixing so I followed the mixing ratio instructions, which turned out to be the wrong way to mix this product , I applied it as instructed but because the ratio was wrong it did not cure right, I contacted the tuff coat co. Directly who in turn told me that the ratio was wrong and I had to remove the product completely off my boat, which took a great deal more scraping and sanding. The Tuffcoat co. Sent me a new batch of primer with the correct instructions on the cans, and the end product worked out great. If you use this just mix it one to one, that is the correct way to mix it.

Used the epoxy primer before applying the Ultra Tuff Coating on fiberglass coated wood. Easy to mix, spreades well but when mixed goes on as an off white color and dries clear. Did not know that at first and thought I was not covering well but discovered different later. Remember, dries clear!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by snowbird great stuff
Primer is absolutely necessary to get a good bond between the deck and the non-skid. Areas where I tried a test without primer did not adhere as well. Sanded , applied primer to entire deck of my ProLine and then applied non skid, it has been on there 7 days and is impossible to scrape off. Only negitive is that it isn't clear, just a little off color, a good tape job will cure that. Just get the right color paint, sand is actually a nice light tan color, so check before you buy.
