Tuf-Line® XP Indicator Braid - 300 Yards
Add precision to your presentation with Tuf-Line XP Indicator Braid. Because Tuf-Line XP Indicator Braid changes colors every 10 feet, repeating from yellow to green to red, you simply count the color changes to your desired length or depth when trolling, back-trolling or jigging suspended fish to enjoy the advantage of knowing precise length and depth. When running multiple rods, you never have to remove more than 20 feet of line to identically match multiple rods, limiting wasted line and maximizing your investment in Tuf-Line XP Indicator's premium performance.
Yellow provides a high visibility length for tracking trolling spreads.
Green offers a low visibility tie off point for shallow water applications.
Disappearing red is the tie off point for low visibility in open water fisheries.

This is the first time I have used Tuf-Line. Overall it is a great line. I use it for jigging and love the colored depth indicators.

Like how it changes every 10 feet, Berkley's is every 25 feet which is too long. Berkley has a hash mark every 5 feet that you can't see.
Indicator with it's distinct color changes makes it possible to run 3 plugs exactly same length from boat when plugging in the Northwest, this forms a wall of death that frightens fish to strike.
As it comes in larger quantity it is relatively inexpensive. I also use as backing on ALL my reel as it last for years & doesn't get kinky as mono or Floricarbon does. With it longevity it may not be more expensive in the long run. I have over 80 reels and this saves me a lot of time.
Think there is only two good braids on the market and this is one of them. As a depth marked line this is the best period.

I use Tuf-LIne indicator since I need a marked line for the fishing I do. My only reason for giving it four stars instead of five is that after a season of use, the colors fade and are almost unusable.

I haven't tried a lot of different lines, Im not rich and Im new to fishing. Just started this year... I bought this cause I thought it would be handy (the distance indicator) and because it would be strong, as I fish Pike. I went with 30lb test which was probably overkill... Line is very visible, for stupid fish like Pike its perfect. Havent tried trout but... My guess is it would be useless. INCREDIBLY strong. Unbelievably so. Unfortunetely it's very slick, I casted out once and my finger caught on the line and I got a very deep clean gash from it. So be careful. But it's fantastic, this wont break. Tough to tie because knots do slip, just gotta find the right knot though, I did and haven't had trouble.
