  • Open braid design
  • Strong main line-to-leader connection
  • Ideal for wind-on leaders
  • Use as backing for top shotting with mono
Unique open braid design allows monofilament to be spliced into the braid for the strongest possible main line-to-leader connection. Great for making your own wind-on leaders, or used as a backing for "top shotting" with mono. Smaller diameter gives you more reel capacity than standard braided lines.
Rated 5 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by cost comparison Even though this line is more expensive than Dacron, Dacron must be replaced at least every season, but Spectra lasts virtually forever. 1200yards will service 4 reels at 300 yards each when used as a hollow backing for knotless mono or fluoro topshot splice connections. So $200 for four reels brings the cost of the150lb down to only $50 each for hollow line that can be used season after season. Plus Spectra is less absorbent than Dacron, making it handle cleaner in long-distance fights. March 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Line I have used this line, in 80 and 130 pound test, to make wind-on and top-shot leaders. The line is easy to work with when splicing, inserting leaders or making knot-less loops etc. Hollow braids can be quite expensive, but Tuf-Line is no more costly than ordinary solid braid. Rated 5 out of 5 by USA Made This stuff feels like mono in your hands, it is hands down the smoothest braid out. Tough to get but worth it, and it makes the best topshots. July 18, 2007

Can I get a smaller spool?

Details:
I'd like a smaller spool to try this line out. I think it comes in 100 yd spools. Do you carry it?
