The TruGlo® tritium/fiber optic pin is perfect for all shooting conditions. When the light fades or the shadows make sighting too dark for the fiber optics, the Tritium works as a light source to boost light levels, increasing visibility. Machined-metal pin features a 3/16" base. Fits slotted pin sights.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Could be better There is one great benefit to the TFO pin, that is that it holds light very well in low light conditions. That being said however, it is not a great pin for hunters. I like a quick kill and that means a perfect shot. This pin only comes in .040" and that is just too big of a pin. If you shoot a 10-yard pin then maybe it is okay but if you are shooting 30+ yards then this pin will cover too much area of the target to get a good aim at the vitals. I think if they made it in smaller sizes then this would be a much better product. February 10, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hunting pin I have been bow hunting for 32 years and have tried just about every bow sight out on the market. Several years ago I went to the tritum pin because the pin doesn't run on batteries and the other glow in the dark pins just didn't work. The first tritium pins was a little on the large size but today they're just the right size. The pin gives you just enough light to make the shot and will not over glow making the target hard to find as battery lights do. This is a great low light to dark pin perfect of hunting. I have taken many, many deer with this pin and have never had a pin break. If you want a very bright day sight pin this will not be for you but if you hunt deer. Perfect. Tip:Try using a c-peep as a hunting peep sight with the tritium pin great hunting combination . Good Hunting July 27, 2009
Rated 1 out of 5 by "If it ain't Broke...." About 5 years ago I purchased a new bow and put a Tru Glo Tritium / Fiber Optic pin on it and it still works on my youngers son's bow today. I was so impressed with it I purchased another one for my older son and he is still using his as well. Well, I got a new bow for Christmas and decided to put a new Tru Glo Tritium pin on it and I noticed some of the reviews complained of the pins breaking. I purchased one anyway and when I got it in the first thing I noticed was the fiber optic support was different. The support was black rather than clear like my old one's and it seemed thinner than the supports on my older Tritium pins. I was concerned the pin was to fragile to hold up for any length of time. I have used the pin for less than a month now and the fiber optic and the support broke off while hunting. Not sure when or how, I just noticed it when I got in my stand this past weekend. I have sent the pin back to Bass Pro for a refund and tried to contact Tru Glo to ask them if they had a reason for changing the pin and if they were aware of how easily the new style pin broke. I have not gotten a response from Tru Glo. I would not suggest using this product, 284J January 8, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by top pin while in bright light this pin is no brighter than the normal fiber wrapped pins, its excels in low light conditions. during those golden hours in the early morning and at dusk this pin glows just enough, yet not so much as to blind you like a sight light does. i have a friend that changed sights from his trugo w/ a Tritium pin to another wrapped housing style sight and missed a shot at a record book buck early one morning because he couldent se his pins well enough. . . i will NEVER hunt without utilizing tritium technology in my top pin. The Cypher 5 is a Trophy Ridge product. Most if not all Trophy Ridge products are compatible with each other example:pin sights, quiver, arrow rest etc...
Hope this helps!

I have three bows and two have Tru Glo sights. I use Tritium on my pistols and my M4. I would love it on my bows.
