Rated 5 out of 5 by FineLine31 Awesome Shotgun Red Dot!!!
I purchased this scope in store @ BPS. I got it home and mounted it on my Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag, then immediately went out to shoot it and get it sighted in. I was pleased to find that the first shot was only about 4" right and 2" low of point of aim @ 20 yards. After adjustment, the 2nd shot was spot on the money. The wadding cut the bullseye out of my target! I put 3 more shots through it and just let me tell you, Tom's in trouble!! My Mossberg and this TruGlo Gobble Stopper are gonna roll some heads!! Thunder chickens BEWARE!! Needless to say, I love the scope!! Go get ya one, take my word on it!

This scope works great! I put it on a Kel-Tec SUB2000 and have had no issues with it. I saw that it was meant for a shotgun and knew it'd be able to withstand a little 9mm carbine. It sights in quick, it shoots accurate, and I can hit really tight groups anywhere from 25-50 yards and possibly beyond that. Great scope for the price, don't hesitate to buy it.

Purchased this for my Taurus Raging Bull .44mag. Works GREAT. Has held up to the recoil very well. It adds to the bulk of the pistol but that's fine with me. I found that with some threadlocker to help hold the screws in place, do to the recoil, this scope is a rock. Well worth the money, and more!

yes it will work fine however keep in mind the reticle is a big circle with a center dot. a traditional truglo red dot sight with just the dot, or the multi reticle line would prolly b the better choice for the ar.
I mounted mine with a weaver scope mount. As far as whether or not to tap or use the no gunsmith mounts. I looked at some of them, they seem to me that they would work, less expensive than having your shotgun tapped, but as always, drilled and tapped will always be more stable in my opinion.
This scope will fit on any Weaver style scope mount with ease. If your shotgun is tapped on top for a scope mount you can just add that and connect the Red Dot to it. If your gun is not tapped (mine was not) you can add a scope mount that straddles the gun and uses the two screws that go into the reciever of the gun - Bsquare makes them and is also sold a BassPro.
