The first true mechanical broadhead has automatic tip-activated blade deployment—blades are deployed and locked into place before penetrating the target for maximum cutting diameter. Won’t deflect on an angled shot. Chisel-tip design, 1-3/8" cutting diameter with three .032" blades. No O-rings or rubber bands.

I don't know what the problem is with the ones saying they got no penetration with these broadheads. Maybe they got the wrong ones. There are two models of these. One that is for bows shooting 300 fps (actual, not IBO), and one for less than 300 fps. I have consistently gotten pass thrus on every deer I have shot with these. 70 lb draw weight. 445 grain total arrow weight. These are the only broadheads I will use!

I purchased these a few years back I decided I would shoot a turget before trying them in the field Im glad i did the tip broke off the very 1st shot so I threw the rest away I wasnt going to risk this kind of error in the woods and end up with an injured deer Im all about a quick clean harvest. Save your money!

i did not believe the bad reviews, my bow is set at 68 lbs, shot a doe at 22 yards should have been a double lung pass through.only got about 4 in of penetration.i was shocked to see my arrow hanging out of the deer on the same side i shot her.ended up losing the deer, a broke arrow & lost broadhead.the average doe here in north florida goes about 90lbs.there were poor reviews and good ones. i wanted to switch from muzzy to a mechanical ,but these are not for me! sent them back for some wassp jackhammers.

A:Â
Yes. All I use in my Predator at 375 FPS. Be aware that the blades are not replaceable but can be sharpened.A:Â
These are not for use with a crossbow. To find mechanical broadheads for a crossbow, please navigate to Archery: Crossbows: Bolts & Bolt Accessories. There you will find many mechanical as well as fixed blade broadheads for use with crossbows. You can also search CROSSBOW BROADHEADS for an assortment of fixed blade and mechanical blade broadheads for crossbows. Thanks!
