Tru-Turn Blood-Red Bass Worm Hook 5 5 14 14
works great, highly reccomend Last year after losing 3 bass in a row, the 4th one which was grabbed off the hook by a gator, snagged the gator where the tail & body meet ! 45 minutes later the 3/0 tru-turn never bent, and the gator was brought to the side of the boat and cut free. The hook just has awesome strength and I have had great luck with them, highly reccomend September 20, 2011
the best I've used this hook for 20+ years. Nothin but the beast. December 13, 2010
best hooks on the market I have tried a variety of hooks over the years and have found tru-turn hooks to land the most fish. I must admit that I fish worms texas style as my main fish catcher. I also like to "cross their eyes" when I set the hook. Tru-Turn hooks are designed to rotate around and hook the fish in the jaw. That is a lot better than gut-hooking them. The red finish does give the hook a slight advantage over the bronze color but you can save a lot of money by purchasing the bronze color hooks and use a red permanent marker to color the hook yourself. I gave the other hooks away and only purchase Tru-Turn hooks in a variety of sizes. October 28, 2010
Tru Turn Hooks To me this is the only hook out there.i have had friends to get me to use another hook I say no I have my on. Theses hooks are easy to rigg into a plastic bait. February 1, 2015

Haven't found bulk packages of the red hooks anywhere.

I did notice that after using the red hooks for a while that the red finish comes off when I use pliers to remove the hook from the fish.

So what I do now is buy the bronze colored hooks in the package of 50. I bought a red permanent magic marker and color the hooks myself.

The color wears off after a while but I just color them back up again. I also save a lot of money that way.

I also tried spray painting my hooks red, black, etc. and then spraying a clear coat over the top of that. I have found the spray paint to last longer than the magic marker.
