Rated 5 out of 5Â by Lorcan works great, highly reccomend
Last year after losing 3 bass in a row, the 4th one which was grabbed off the hook by a gator, snagged the gator where the tail & body meet ! 45 minutes later the 3/0 tru-turn never bent, and the gator was brought to the side of the boat and cut free. The hook just has awesome strength and I have had great luck with them, highly reccomend

with the first hook I used, i caught a 19 inch bass. The hook is lite so the soft plastics sinks very slowly under docks

Haven't found bulk packages of the red hooks anywhere.I did notice that after using the red hooks for a while that the red finish comes off when I use pliers to remove the hook from the fish.
So what I do now is buy the bronze colored hooks in the package of 50. I bought a red permanent magic marker and color the hooks myself.
The color wears off after a while but I just color them back up again. I also save a lot of money that way.
I also tried spray painting my hooks red, black, etc. and then spraying a clear coat over the top of that. I have found the spray paint to last longer than the magic marker.
