One of the hardest flyfishing knots made easy.... As long as you follow the directions. If you are adequate tying a blood knot on your own, I don't recommend this tool, as it wastes several inches of line. However, if you can follow simple directions, but have large fingers and find it difficult to tie a blood knot, this is the tool for you. A perfect blood knot in about 30 seconds EVERY time.

The "Clinch Tool Knot Tyer," made by the same company, is a helpful tool for tying knots in less-than optimal conditions. The "Tru-Blood Knot Tyer", however, manages to take a somewhat tedious knot, the blood knot, and make it difficult.
I was hoping for a tool that would be helpful in tying blood knots (tippet to leader) on the stream, when light was low and fingers were thick. This tool is completely inappropriate for that use, and difficult to use even at a well lit tying bench. If you can manipulate this tool and manipulate the line on it according to instructions, you aren't having trouble tying blood knots anyway.
Others may have better luck than I did, but while the tool can eventually generate a blood knot, the effort and dexterity is greater than simply tying it by hand.
Your mileage may vary, but I was unimpressed.
