Articles & Information
The dependability and performance of this rest helped pioneer the "fall-away" revolution. It has a completely enclosed spring, stainless steel launcher and a 100% aluminum body. Utilizing a minimum number of moving parts and big hex adjustment bolts, the Trophy Taker will take the headaches out of tuning your bow by eliminating fletch contact. Comes with a long or short mounting bar. A nylon cord attaches to your buss cable or cable slide to control the lift of the launcher arm. However, the launcher on this rest is a full 1-1/8" wide, making arrow capture and retention a breeze. Camo.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Miles357 Great Rest
I have been very pleased overall with this rest. It is wide enough that your arrow will not fall of at full draw if you bump into something. The only complaint is that it is a little loud. I have tried different material to quiet it down but only with minimal noise reduction. The noise is not so loud that it is a problem though. The set screw next to the riser bolt ensures that it will not move. Great product, highly recommended.

I put this rest on my Mathews outback and it shoots extremely accurate and required very little tuning since there is no contact with the arrow after the shot. The only complaint I have with it is that the launching prong makes some noise when it drops down because of metal to metal contact. A little moleskin solves this.

I have got really good arrow flight from this rest, although it is very loud. metal to metal noise. I have tried to make it quieter using felt but had very little success. It would be great for target practice but to noisy for hunting.

Does the rest stay up at full draw position even when draw has to be let down?3 years, 4 months ago

yes it doesA:Â
Yes the QAD rest does stay in the up position after a full draw. It has a tab under it that you press to let the rest down. When I go hunting, once I get my arrow loaded, I press the tab to raise my rest. This keeps my arrow in poistion. The QAD rest also has a bar that mounts just over the rest. In the picture of the black QAD it has the camo tape. This holds the arrow in place even if the bow is turned up side down. To unload the bow, you just press the tab and the rest will fall.1 of 1
