The dependability and performance of this rest helped pioneer the "fall-away" revolution. Trophy Taker® Shakey Hunter Slide-Adjust Fall-Away Arrow Rests have a completely enclosed spring, stainless steel launcher and a 100% aluminum body. Utilizing a minimum number of moving parts and big hex adjustment bolts, the Trophy Taker will take the headaches out of tuning your bow by eliminating fletch contact. Comes with a long or short mounting bar. A nylon cord attaches to your buss cable or cable slide to control the lift of the launcher arm. However, the launcher on this rest is a full 1-1/8" wide, making arrow capture and retention a breeze. Camo.

It's O.K. I currently shoot with a Trophy Taker, Shakey Hunter and I must say that is a good rest which performes the way it should, the arrow gets good clearence off the release. I have had a few problems with the product though. Upon release I would always hear a vibration noise, upon further inspection I found the rest would clank on itself when it dropped I slightly fixed this by sticking felt between the impact points though there still in some noise. I was also hunting Boar one time (I lived in Tennesee) and I drew back on the animal and my arrow flew of the rest! I recovered and harvested the animal but boar don't see very well. If that happened hunting turkey or even whitetail I'm afriad I may have spooked my game. Not being a full containment arrow rest I can't fault it too much for that incident. It does perform tasks it was designed for well, though nothing more. June 21, 2007
The real deal!!! The TT Skakey Hunter is the real deal when it comes to arrow rests. This rest has a simple design, yet it provides all the necessary adjustment options, and performs flawlessly. I switched to this rest from the Whisker Biscuit and the different is amazing. I was initially worried about my arrow falling off the rest (definitely not a problem with the WB), but I have yet to have my arrow jump out of the cradle with this rest. Arrow capture is perfect every time!! I would highly recommend this rest to anyone! July 27, 2006
Great Rest I have been very pleased overall with this rest. It is wide enough that your arrow will not fall of at full draw if you bump into something. The only complaint is that it is a little loud. I have tried different material to quiet it down but only with minimal noise reduction. The noise is not so loud that it is a problem though. The set screw next to the riser bolt ensures that it will not move. Great product, highly recommended. May 5, 2009
The trophy taker failed the ultimate test You would think that an arrow rest this expensive would be very quiet, well thats not so! This arrow rest has cost me the biggest buck of my life. I had a massive buck about 30 yard from me broadside, when i took the shot the arrow rest made a loud metal on metal sound causing the buck to jump the string. Do Not waste your money! July 8, 2007

Yes the QAD rest does stay in the up position after a full draw. It has a tab under it that you press to let the rest down. When I go hunting, once I get my arrow loaded, I press the tab to raise my rest. This keeps my arrow in poistion. The QAD rest also has a bar that mounts just over the rest. In the picture of the black QAD it has the camo tape. This holds the arrow in place even if the bow is turned up side down. To unload the bow, you just press the tab and the rest will fall.
