Rated 5 out of 5 by Hasn't failed me yet I got this rest installed to replace my whisker biscuit. I always preferred the whisker biscuit over drop away for security. Had it installed on my PSE at a local bow shop. Shot it a few times before leaving to tuned it in. Since then I have shot it hundreds and hundreds of times. Never failed to clear the arrow, Doesn't accidentally spin if you cancel your draw. I've put a arrow in it and shaken it around a bunch of times for interested people at the range. I find it as secure as the whisker biscuit I loved with the advantages of a drop away. Seems to me if its installed right it works great. Only question now is if it will wear our out faster than a whisker biscuit. By the way I'm shooting Blazer style vanned arrows. October 26, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by not for fast bows Shooting a 82 nd airborne , bowtech, this could not drop fast enough, caught my arrows every time , no matter what I did to tune my bow to the rest . October 13, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Clearance issues!!!! I'm shooting a Hoyt trykon and the first issue I had was riser clearance. When I finally got it installed I found out that when your shooting blazer vanes it will not clear the rest no matter vane position. The vanes end up hitting the side, it's not that that rest releases to slow it just the over all design! October 4, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Revolution I purchased this rest to install on my Bow Tech Guardian. It would not tune! Trophy Ridge said their first batch of rests didn’t provide enough adjustment side-to- side for some bows with thicker raisers. Additionally, if you try to force the rest out far enough by tapping on it, the rest may NOT release quick enough to clear the arrow. Trophy Ridge sent a replacement with a longer barrel that works perfect. Very quiet for the price. Cliff note: If you can’t adjust your rest out far enough you may have one of the first rests made. Trophy Ridge will work with you. September 17, 2011

A little mre than some in that you must tension the rest to raise it all the way to release height - about 1/8" above the resting height. but with that in mind not much different than any other.

It comes set for center shot on most bows. You just need to put it on, make sure it is straight. Get it as close to the arrow shelf as it can go. My bow, it was all the way forward. It says you need a press to serve it into the bus cable. But you can get away with serving it on it. Just make sure it is tight enough. Or you can use the clip type. I served mine on the bus cable. works fine. I had to make a slight side adjustment but that was all! Shoots great!

4in vane right helical

Will this release work with the 4in vane and a right helical? I'm kind of "iffy" about this rest, any information would be nice

I have the 2.1" fusions right heli, they work fine. I also have the 3' fusions on Bow Madness arrows. Works fine. THere is actually more room the a QAD!

Yes it certainly will. I've shot several vane sizes with no clearance issues. No need to be iffy about this rest. I will not be using any other rest from now on!

I've used this one is pouring rain, freezing rain, and snow. It works flawlessly every day.

it sits just like a W/B does. So I don't see why it wouldn't.

Yes, it mounts to the riser center screw just as any rest would. But you will need to get RH or LH.

Will it work for hunters?

Details:
Before you draw back is the rest sitting in the position it is in the picture and only turns 90 degrees right after the shot? Then do you have to turn it back by hand??

this is the ONLY thing I do not like about this rest. It should have been done with a Thumb Flipper. However it does not affect your shot. You can turn easy enough with out one. Once it is flipped you locked in. It is a little tighter on the arrow then a QAD. More like a W/B. Other then that issue, it is a GREAT rest! I shoot a Bowtech Invasion!

You have to turn it by hand. You can use your thumb and never have to release the grip on the bow handle and still keep the release on the string. Once you shoot the release rotates 90 degrees to provide clearance. Great product.

No, the rest starts in the 'open' position. As you draw back, the rest is rotated by it's cord and locked into the 'draw' position. Once the arrow is released, the rest rotates into the open position.

The benefit with this rest compared to other fall away rests, is it will not drop away if you do a slow let down.

Full containment at its best.

after setting arrow, u can rotate to capture position. it locks in place until shot or u can tap it and it will release. I use it on a bowtech destroyer 350 for hunting and love it.

it is in vertical position until you draw it it sets into the full containment horizontal position. or you can knock your arrow and then turn it by hand for full containment until u let it rip...genius idea...just a bad rest...read my review

I believe the big misconception is that vane size matters with this rest. You need to be shooting 3" vanes, not 4". Speed will not be an issue if you have the right vanes.

mine was on a reflex shooting about 312fps and it was not fast enough to clear every time. ended up breaking some arrows and then the arm broke on the rest fairly quickly. i suggest trying one and if it doesnt work return it.
