Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Sight I love this sight, i can see much more of the target and the surrounding areas, great item August 25, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good sight I put this sight on my Alpha Max. It was pretty easy to tune in. The only problem i can see so far is the adjusting screws for the individual pins need to be a bit larger, for it doesn't take much to strip out a 1/16" Allen screw. I wish they would have stayed with the slide lock design of the flatline. other than that the pins are very bright and lots of adjustment for zeroing in. August 29, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by good sight The pins are very bright and the small diameter pins are good for shooting at longer distances. My only complaint about it is that you can only get close with the gang windage adjustments. It is difficult to move the sight only a small amount to correct for windage. (That is why the micro drive sights are nice.) Each individual pin is adjustable for elevation which is good, just wish the windage was also. It is a good sight, holds accuracy well and has a nice fit and finish. August 8, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sight I had the old version of this sight and this style is very well improved, easy to set up. August 2, 2010

General Inquiry

Details:
I am seriously considering changing my bow sight for the upcoming deer season. In the opinion of those who use this Trophy Ridge sight, what are the advantages of this sight over a horizontal sight (which I currently use)? Any information would be helpful, as I am greatly interested in this sight, but would like to hear some more about it before making such an expensive purchase.

The vertical pins allow for less obstruction of the object your aiming at...such as a deer. More light in transmitted and makes it easier to see. You can also fine tune your elevations of each pin individually to a very fine scale, fractions of an inch. Everyone I know that shoots inline pins, won't go back to horizontals...Im one of them.

My experience with this vertical style is it's easy to get on your target and see the animals full body weather it be foam or live. Just put the yardage pin you want on your spot and let it go. Good luck in your choice.
