Replacement rope This is a high quality rope that is long enough to allow you to stand and set the trolling motor in place. October 19, 2013
piece of trash Broke after 2 or 3 fishing trips. Made one out of clothesline rope to replace it. and works great. August 25, 2008
Don't waste your money I had ordered 2 of these, one for my self and one for my cousin. Both were replaced at the same time 2 months ago. The first weekend of use the rope pulled through the rubber handle. I replaced it with my old plastic trolling motor handle and continued to use it. His trolling motor rope snapped last weekend, mine snapped this weekend after just 2 months of use. The rope is too springy and can not take the shock of a trolling motor! Don’t waste your money or time with this product! August 3, 2008
tip for trolling motor rope The trolling motor replacement rope is comparable to the OEM. I have found one thing that should help the longevity of the rope. before installing on the trolling motor, measure the distance to the ferrule on the motor mount where the rope rubs and put some shrink wrap (about 2-3 inches) in that area which will take the abrasion instead of the rope itself.
