Rated 4 out of 5Â by chad12345 would be a 5 but....
This is a very nice lock for the $ the only reason i did not give it a 5 is that it is a little aggrivating to get the key in. You have to use the key to slide the weather guard over and push the key in at the same time. It looks like the guard has a bevel on it so that it will slide over upon key insertion but it is stiff. It will probably work loose in time.

I've had no issues from this lock whatsoever. It locks and unlocks flawlessly. As with any lock that sits out in the elements, I just apply a little bit of synthetic grease designed for locks and it operates smoothly.

I purchased this lock, which was a little more than most others price wise, expecting to get a better product. However, I did not.
The first week I had the lock on my boat I ran into a problem. The second time I tried to go unlock it to hook up and the metal covering on the inside was siezed up and would not allow me to insert the key. I had to punch it out with a punch/hammer, which took about 30 minutes. Once I pulled that inner cover out it works descent, but I wouldn't recommend it.
