Trim Extenders for Mercury
I had these on my boat until I bought my jack plate. At that point they gave me way too much trim. They do exactly what they say they do...lots of extra trim. In some cases this can give you some more top end. For $26 it's worth a try. It's the cheepest way to pick up a couple hundred RPM that I know of.

They work great
No problems at all.
Wish they came with new nuts but old ones do work.
They do what they say and no problems.

I have a 19.6 foot 96inch beam dual console bass boat with a ten inch jack plate and a mercury 200 hp engine i installed these because my engine was tucking to far under,i actually had to bump the trim up a little before i installed these to get a decent hole shot after installing them i have ran my boat several times and my hole shot is very good and i have also gained 2mph on top speed, verified with gps. I don't have any blow out on turns.and my water pressure is excellent, yes i could have raised my jack plate but my boat handles very well where it is and i don't have to worry about chime walking or water pressure issues.Oh i am running a 23 pitch tempest prop, wot 5550 didn't notice any change in rpm's at wide open throttle with 2 people and all gear on board. In my case they were very helpful, very well worth the money. Wouldn't recommend this as a gift the boat owner needs to make a decision like this..

Like them very much, I needed just a little more trim. Put them on and got just what I needed. Better bow lift and 3 mph. Got my trophy prop running as fast as my tempest.
