when i was in the army this is what we had why because it's the best in the industry. It's pricey, but what good is a rifle that you can't hit what you're shooting at? I can put 10 round groups inside 4" all day at 100yds with it. Quality remains long after price is forgotten. . .

I have had an EOTech and I now feel that the ACOG is far superior in quality and ease of use.

ACOG Scope for 5.56
ACOG scopes are simple to use and the bullet drop compensator effective within a specific load and weight. Zeroing was simple, using the provided instructions. It is expensive, but I wanted a rugged scope I could use for hog hunting.

Unless you were to mount a rail spacer (which would make using the ACOG very uncomfortable because of the added height), you cant use them together, usually you would just fold down the battle sights to be used if the ACOG were to fail or if you remove it. One nice feature of the ACOG is that you are able to remove it and replace it without losing zero. I hope this helps.
