i have had these flappin craws for a while, i have definitely put the time into the bait and just can not get them to bite! i love how they look in the water but i dont count, the fish do.. i did not have them in the spring so i look forward to trying them again.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Fisherman223 BIG bass lure!!!
I have experimenting with this lure a lot including in a couple of tournaments and this lure keeps hauling in the biggest bass in the lake! Texas-rig this bait and pitch it into docks and patches of weeds and hold on. This bait has great action from the craw legs that is great for muddy water but just as good in clear water. You have to get this lure!

This was an absolute desire to have when I saw this bait being used in a tank at the classic (not this bait but another Trigger X bait) and saw how the bass reacted to the pheromones they put in these baits. I was so happy to pull them out today to try and I just knew they would out fish any bait I was previously using. Now when I review a bait my main goal is to discover weaknesses of bait, especially soft plastic. Nothing seemed wrong with the way I hooked the bait ( Texas with a 0/2 Gamatsku worm hook and a 1/16 ounce sliding bullet weight twitched in a finesse fashion), design, ease of use, and it looked like it was worth the five bucks I spent. My first cast with bait made me love the baits performance in the water and absolutely made me astonished to see that I had hooked a 1 pound bass on my first cast. I was delighted until after releasing the bass I noticed one of the claws were already gone. At first, I thought it was just that one bass but after 2 more bass and a 1 pound bluegill I realized I had used one bait per fish. I disappointed to the fact that apparently $5 was worth 8 fish ( bait per fish). I have come to the conclusion that this bait is everything a fisherman wants whether its a jigged or Texas but durability. I hope this review helps in some way and if anyone learns that Trigger X has upped their claws on these baits please post it somewhere on this website.

Let me start out by saying that the claws DO NOT rise when at rest, I was disappointed when I tested them out and saw that the claws just lay there, the main reason I bought them was for the advertised rise of the claws. Other than that they are a great bait. If you twitch like a fluke when its in the water, the claws do a little dance which the bass love.
