First, the sizes are a little different then they say. The 4" size is more like 4.5" and the 3.5" size is barely 3"- just so you known when you buy this which you really should. You can pitch it into cover and it comes through very clean. Texas rig it on a 4/0 EWG hook all day. Even better? Try using it as a jig trailer to create a big, bulky bait. It looks and works awesome!

i have to say that i held off for the longest time on the newer trigger x things thinking it was just another "gulp" type bait, i was wrong, im not a big gulp fan so i always kinda turned away from those types of baits, but trigger x is without a doubt one of my top favorite soft plastics now, i mainly use yamamoto baits and yum and zoom but i have been out the 1st 4 times with trigger x when none of those baits would produce anything, i try a flappin hog and no luck, i tryed trigger x "flappin bug" with almost the same style body and its like someone cut the light on, 1st 4 trips with trigger x while nothing else worked trigger x produced, has me hooked (these trips were on the james river the day after a 20degree drop cold front and on a SUPER pesured public pond) not as durable as yum or zoom but more durable than yamamoto

if you like buying a bait you can only use once then be my guest . if you leave these trigger x baits on your hook , they will dry out, and they get so hard you have to cut them off with a knife .
