The Trigger X Agression Flappin' Bug bass bait is treated with the Trigger X Ultrabite Aggression Pheromones which are specially formulated for bass and other freshwater fish. The pheromones are said to trigger the feeding instinct and mimic aggression and fear pheromones involved with predators and their prey.
The Trigger X Flappin' Bug can be flipped, pitched or cast into the heaviest of cover. A lively action, combined with fish triggering scent, turns the wariest species into aggressors. The Trigger X Flappin' Bug can be fished Texas-rigged for a head down presentation. When paused, the claw flaps will slowly rise and straighten out.

If you are looking for a great finesse flipping or pitching bait, then try this one. I picked up the 3.5" Flappin' Bug because I felt I needed to down size my pitching presentation. One of the lakes I fish gets a TON of pressure & I just wasn't get a lot of bites on my standard 4" flipping / pitching baits. The smaller bait made all the difference. I suggest rigging it with a Trokar 3/0 TK130 Flippin' hook.

First, the sizes are a little different then they say. The 4" size is more like 4.5" and the 3.5" size is barely 3"- just so you known when you buy this which you really should. You can pitch it into cover and it comes through very clean. Texas rig it on a 4/0 EWG hook all day. Even better? Try using it as a jig trailer to create a big, bulky bait. It looks and works awesome!

i have to say that i held off for the longest time on the newer trigger x things thinking it was just another "gulp" type bait, i was wrong, im not a big gulp fan so i always kinda turned away from those types of baits, but trigger x is without a doubt one of my top favorite soft plastics now, i mainly use yamamoto baits and yum and zoom but i have been out the 1st 4 times with trigger x when none of those baits would produce anything, i try a flappin hog and no luck, i tryed trigger x "flappin bug" with almost the same style body and its like someone cut the light on, 1st 4 trips with trigger x while nothing else worked trigger x produced, has me hooked (these trips were on the james river the day after a 20degree drop cold front and on a SUPER pesured public pond) not as durable as yum or zoom but more durable than yamamoto

if you like buying a bait you can only use once then be my guest . if you leave these trigger x baits on your hook , they will dry out, and they get so hard you have to cut them off with a knife .
