If you fish around alot of shallow structure you need this product. Even if your transducer is broke it will work with this product. Saving you money.

Manufacturer also markets a powder coated black clamp with the transducer shield, Bass Pro does not. Would have bought it if they had. Should sell together, I would have bought it. I fish a flooded Florida impoundment, full of trees , stick ups, and snags, hit everything w/ my trolling motor. So far shield works great. At this time of year, lake is drawn down 2 feet, makes boat launching and recovery tuff w/out using your trolling motor. Even with the banging of gravel and rocks on the trolling motor/transducer shield to do so there is no damage. Worth the money!

Difficult to install. No hose clamp. Securing the transducer is reliant on 2 rubber washers. Wiring port is not directional. There are better products on the market for less cost.
Difficult to change on the water if your trolling motor goes out.
