Transducer Shield & Saver SSC-1 for Lowrance or Eagle Long or Short Skimmer Tranducers
Worth the money
Manufacturer also markets a powder coated black clamp with the transducer shield, Bass Pro does not. Would have bought it if they had. Should sell together, I would have bought it. I fish a flooded Florida impoundment, full of trees , stick ups, and snags, hit everything w/ my trolling motor. So far shield works great. At this time of year, lake is drawn down 2 feet, makes boat launching and recovery tuff w/out using your trolling motor. Even with the banging of gravel and rocks on the trolling motor/transducer shield to do so there is no damage. Worth the money!

great for the money!
I bought this because the arm on my transducer broke and I didn't wanna buy a new transducer just to have the same thing happen again. I heard the transducer shield/saver would work even if the arm was broken, and it did. I'm happy with the purchase and it has paid for itself after a few outings and hitting rocks/stumps. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a new transducer due to a broken arm/mounting bracket.

Like most of the others who have reviewed this product, I had broken my transducer and was faced with either replacing my transducer or upgrade my unit and get a new transducer in the process. I have used this product for over a year now with the broken arm transducer and have had absolutely no problems. I would highly reccommend this product to anyone, whether their transducer is broken or not!

Exactly what I Needed
the mount broke off my trolling motor transducer, what to do? I saw this in the Bass Pro Catalog and thought that looks good but will it work...well it is cheaper than a new transducer, so I ordered it. First use Lake Istokpoga, lots of water grasses, no problems worked great. Looks great and it actually works better now than before. I would recommend this to everyone. Great investment.
