Made of premium grade Chromoly steel with a premium CeraKote finish, the Ultralight LDR's tapered and fluted barrel provides 50 times more corrosion resistant than stainless steel. Combined with the LT-1 Alloy frame and Hogue overmolded Soft Touch stock, this gun delivers big performance at an easy-to-carry 6.8 lbs. The Ultralight LDR also features trusty 209 shotgun primer ignition and Traditions' easy-to-remove Accelerator Breech Plug™ for easy cleaning. The Ultralight Drop Out Trigger System comes factory set at an easy-pulling four lbs. and removes entirely for cleaning with the removal of just one screw. The Speed Load System makes starting bullets easier and helps deliver more consistent groups. One of the safest muzzleloaders you will find, the Vortek Ultralight LDR features a trigger block safety as well as a rebounding hammer safety. Rated 5 out of 5 by Well worth the money To call this muzzleloader a tack driver is an understatement. The boresighting out of the box left something to be desired. After adjusting that there was no stopping this gun. It shot a 3 shot group at a hundred yards that all 3 holes touched each other. That was without swabbing the barrel November 6, 2012
