Traditions™ Buckstalker Break-Action .50 Caliber Muzzleloaders
Excellent first muzzleloader
This was the first year that I got into muzzleloader hunting so I wasn't looking to spend a whole lot of money. After hours of comparing I decided to go with the Traditions Buckstalker w/ fiber sights. I took it to the range a week before muzzleloader season and out the box it was shooting the 7 ring (high & left) at about 75 yards. Within 5 shots it was shooting 9's & 10's. (standing) Took it out hunting on opening day and bagged my first doe with it. Great gun for the price and easy to clean & maintain. I don't think I'll ever buy another one, just because I love this gun that much.

Awesome shooting gun!
I bought this gun becouse of the price and no other reason! However it was a really nice surprise to find out that it shoots better than all the guns that I have. Right out of the box it was grouping 2-2.5 inch spreads at 100 yards. After 150 rounds its still shooting great! after cleaning it a few times. I don't care what guns you own you should still put one of these in your collection!

Price, Price, Price
For the money you can't beat it. Shot 12 rounds thru it yesterday and have it dialed in at 60yds. Only thing is the ram rod! I can see it's not going to do the job very long. Felt the small part bending on the rod after about the 7th round.

Great gun! I was able to bore sight my scope in and get it on paper first shot. The 209 primers make this a very easy gun to shoot. Upfront cost to get powder and everything for it is pricey but very worth the reward. Great conversation piece also!!!
