Rated 5 out of 5 by First shot kill I purchased this rifle on a Friday, the day before BP season started. I didn't have the chance to go to the range to put any rounds down range. I had the rifle bore sighted at the store, and cleaned it that night. Out of the box, and into the field the next day, I shot a six point an hour into the season from 26 yards using 250 grain round and 100 gains of pyrodex. A well balanced rifle that just feels good in my hands. Why spend more, when this rifle is an option? November 6, 2012

A:
My buckstalker purchased new in 2009 has an aluminum ram rod, not sure about current production as they've changed some aspects of the rifle since then.
