the strike plate was fine,but after about 5 days of shooting,the the fabric started coming apart on the rest itself.its not "fur" as you may be led to beleive.and the adheisive backing did not stick well,even after cleaning the shelf with alcohol to ensure a clean sticking surface.

I installed this rest on both my long bow and re-curve bow. It worked well on my long bow, never came out but on my re-curve bow, it came off from the back, but I just push it down and I have been doing this for months now. It never came off lose completely just the edge of it. It keeps the bow rest from being scratched.

First set I ordered, half of the adhesive came off on the waxpaper. Bass Pro Shops mailed me another one free of charge and it was of similiar quality and fell off my bow after one day of shooting.

I installed mine w/o cleaning the riser and it's going strong for 2 years now. Rubbing alcohol isn't good for cleaning. Soapy water would work better.1 of 1
