I bought this trekking pole because I am a disabled veteran who has trouble walking yet loves the outdoors, I fish, hunt, camp, and hike as I am sure many other users on this website do. But with injuries it is hard for me to do these things as often. I walk with a cane but it is not good for the woods or beaches so I needed something else before I could return to my former active lifestyle.
I used this pole for the first time and fell in love with it, the spear tip on the end made walking through the muddy ground of the woods in Florida a breeze. It offered so much extra stability that it was unbelievable. Walking on harder ground was made easy with the attatchable foot end of it. The adjustable height of it makes it great for use indoors as a cane or outdoors as a walking stick. This was an absolutely amazing buy.
The only problem with it is the price, it is a bit high but the quality makes it well worth the extra money.
I would recommend this to anyone that has any problems walking and wants to do so, or anyone who hikes alot and would like to use a walking stick.
