We have a total of 9 kids with 5 of them being between the ages of 3 and 8 years old. My boys want toy guns, and I've bought cheap ones, ones that aren't supposed to break easily, etc, until we found this one. This gun wasn't bought to shoot caps, it was bought as a toy for their imagination and to tote around everywhere. We have had one of these for several years and are purchasing 4 new ones this year for Christmas gifts. No toy has ever lasted my boys as long as this. It's made out of solid wood and they beat it on trees, the swing set, etc, and it's not broken although it has been left outside and treated very roughly and some of the paint is gone. It was well worth the $15 for us.

I loved these things when I was a kid. It doesnt really snap the cap, but if your kid has a great imagination, they will make the sound effects theirselves. Mine are now hanging on the living room wall. They look cool when they get old and rusty!

Next to owning a Black Powder one, this toy is great!
I had no problems with caps.
Made of good ole wood and doesn't break easy.
( also mods well for those Jawa Blasters! ;-)
