Top Raider Topwater Hardbait
Heads-up on Paint Finish Quality
Offered as info. I purchased a "blackbird" model. On the first cast, the paint started to come off. Soon, the entire lure was almost pure white not having come in contact with a fish or anything solid. I returned it for an exchange to black/orange with no further problems. I, also, have Bullfrog & Baby Duck with no issues so far. Joe Bucher has referred to a top raider paint issue on some of the videos on his web site. Hopefully, the cause of the problem has been identified & corrected. Otherwise, it's too good of a top water lure not to have several in your arsenal. Thank you.

Very happy with the lure! Finish and over all quality. The only reason for the 4 star rating is because the paint could be a little more durable. Once you hit the spinning tail and make a paint chip it spreads seemingly with every cast. I took this lure out and tied it on and the very first cast I caught a 25" Muskie. I bought it in the Bullfrog color.

This is a fantastic prop style topwater. It creates a deep plopping sound that fish can't resist. Dark colors seem to work better.

Huge PIke Go Crazy
We fished in Northern Manitoba, Cormorant Lake in August, 2011.Wish we had more than one of these The Pike went crazy over the loon model. Largest Pike caught on this was 44 1/2" - caught quite a few in the 36" to 40" range. The only down side was that so many big fish hit it that they finally punctured it and it filled with water. We drained it and continued fishing.
