Top Brass Tackle Juggers
These jugs are great because 14 of them fit nicely into a 5 gallon plastic bucket. With 3 buckets in the boat, I can easily carry 42 jugs. The reflective stickers on the ends are nice to see in lower light, but can come off after a few uses. So, I first coat the ends with spray contact cemet. When dry in a few minutes, I add the stickers and they don't come off. The line length is about 30 feet. So on some, I increase the line length (and write that length on the end of the jug). I change all hooks to 5/0 circle hooks. I change all weights to 1 ounce. I don't use the "fish-finder" feature. I wind the string in the opposite direction so it won't catch on this feature. I just throw the jug over, and it unwinds itself. I use a boat hook to recover the jugs, steering with the trolling motor. Then, I usually catch a mess o' catfish.

These are great for small to medium catfish. You should replace the hooks and use your own reflective tape, but the adjustable depth makes them worth the price. It's pretty handy to be able to just look at your depthfinder and then strip off the right amount of line.

The simplicity of this product is great. I think it could be better if the decals would stick better or there was a better surface to adhere them to, however, I love the fact that they are easy to store and use.

great for the lake, but, as with most of the other commercial jugs it would be a good idea the change the line and weight. Other than that great product.
