Rated 5 out of 5Â by Mark64 Surprised
Brought for my 86 bass boat, lightly sanded the yellow clear over the metal flake, masked off, and wiped on with soft cotton rag. I only have one coat on it and it looks great, going to add a second coat and the boat will look like new again. I don't know how long it will last yet, instructions say a couple of years. I drove an hour to my local BPS, but they don't stock it. Ordered online on Saturday and it was on my door step the next Saturday. Very happy so far, can't wait to finish the the rest of it and see the final product.

I am not much on spending time doing maintenance but I do like to keep my boat looking nice. That is why I tried this product and I am pretty satisfied. It gave me a great shine and clean up was easy when I was done for the season.

I put multiple coats on my boat and it brought out a really nice shine. It is a lot easier to cean and keep clean with the clear-coat finish especially inside the boat. I suggest starting on an area of the boat that is the least visible until you get the hang of applying the product. Apply in thin coats using multiple coats for the best finish. My boat looks great!

You may have to lightly wet sand the surface, wipe it down real good and you should be fine.A:Â
Your boat has faded in spots like mine did. If you run your hand over the medal-flake the flakes sometimes comes off. What you should do is:
1. Wash boat real clean
2 . Take 1500 wet-dry sandpaper and very very lightly (while running water over the sand paper) sand over the top part of your boat, then after it dries, put several coats (1 @ a time) on it. Let each coat dry completely. Keep it washed and waxed and put a cover over your boat. Remember wash and wax your boat about every month. It will continue to look like it came off the showroom floor.
