I will solve your mystery for this product. If you plan to use it for an old (minimum 4 years) boat/pontoon hull that has rarely been cleaned, you will love it. If you plan to use it for a new/newish boat and only want something as maintenance, DO NOT USE! This is acid-based and will turn new aluminum white. Old aluminum that's coated with grime will look great to the owner because they haven't seen it clean in a while. The packaging says it will "brighten" aluminum, very misleading. You actually need to polish the stained, off white aluminum if you want any of the gloss back. Anyone who says this product worked for them, check the boat they're using it on: it's old and dirty. Anyone who says this product turned their hull white, check the boat they're using it's new. Yup, I used it on my new boat and look at what it did in the pics. I diluted it 50/50 and only kept it on the hull for 1-2 minutes.

got the product one bottle was full the other one was only 1/2 full of what the other bottle had in it ,

I used this product on my pontoon and it turned it white. Tried a small area and kept applying the product but it got whiter. I tried power washing to no luck. I used rubbing compouned on a small area and got it to shine. Now I have to buff out 21 feet of pontoon. Thank GOD I only did one side.DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT

Used this on my recently purchased 2008 Tracker 175 TXW.I don't think it had ever been cleaned and had major dark streaks all around. Applied the TB at a 50/50 mix,waited 5 min then washed off with a regular hose. The boat looks absolutely 100% clean. Could not have asked for a better looking outcome.
The sprayer that came with it did a good job, but got clogged up somehow near the end and had to finish the job with a sponge. Need to improve the sprayer.
This was one product gave me more than my monies worth.

The 1/2 gallon with sprayer must be diluted 1 to 1 or 3 to1, depending on application.Boats left in water for season or pulled in & out each time.
The 1 gallon is ready to use for heavy clean or dilute 50/50 making 2 gallons for light clean.

The only problem I noticed was getting a whiff of the spray that irritated my nose. But this was very minor. Similar to other household cleaning products. I would say use whatever PPE you normally use with these type of products and you should be OK. No problems with grass but I did wash down boat and area after application with a large amount of water.Answers
