Rated 5 out of 5Â by BatRay Excellent Product
These are well made and versatile. You can mount them in different orientation so they will fit any pier railing. They are made of aluminum so they are corrosion resistant and lightweight. You can attach the rod holder and the bracket in the opposite configuration
than you would use on the pier so they are more compact for travel. They work extremely well and every time I use them other guys on the pier ask me where to get them. Although there are cheaper options they are nowhere near as good. These will eliminate any possibility of losing your tackle and make your pier fishing much easier. Highly recommended. Finally they are made in Elkhart, Indiana.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by jrpgmc12 better than what I had
The rod holders look all right. The packaging was really a problem to get off of the product. Get one from your stock and try it yourself. The shrink wraping is much too tight. what part can be damaged by different packaging?

Rated 5 out of 5Â by FatCat17 Tite-Lok Rod Holder with C-Clamp is the best!
The Tite-Lok® Rod Holder with C-Clamp is excellent; well designed; since my boat side is too thick, I clamp it on to a cleat, and it works perfectly.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Crest17cx Poor quality
I purchased two of these based on not wanting to drill holes in my new Crestliner 17 CX. Unfortuantely, the clamp width is too small for my gunwale so I have to mount it to one of my hatch doors. This is not the reason for my dings in the rating.... I recommend measuring your gunwale width before purchasing.
I gave it a lower rating due to the turn knob stripping out on one of these the very first day of use. The holder can still be used but it cannot be tightened very much. I fear due to not being able to be tightened, a larger fish is going to pull my rod and holder into the water.
I do not recommend and would not purchase another.
