Tipton Quality I've come to recognise that the Tipton brand name stands for long lasting quality and the fiber cleaning rods are no exception. Well made, easy / very smooth to use and I'm sure will last the test of time. I have plenty of old cheap rods that I didn't realise how bad they were until I started using the Tipton carbon fiber rod. Highly recommended. May 5, 2010
the rod I bought this because I broke my old one while cleaning my 22-250. It spins very well while inside the barrel and I noticed it flexes just enough to not break. March 28, 2010

Not if you get the long one, then it will work for even shotguns with long barrel lengths. But you may want to get yourself a jag kit.
