45 mins. before sunrise on Marylands opening of Whitetail gun season I placed 2 scent bombs near my ladder stand. ( one attached to my stand and one approx. 40 yards down wind from my stand. Right a daybreak a doe entered the wood lot and got a nose full of Tinks 69 and stop in her tracks. Two mins. later a nice 8pt. ran into the wood lot casing the doe out of sight. Five mins. later the 8pt. returned on a string heading right toward my stand. I dropped him at 15 yards down wind from my stand. During field dressing the doe returned and watched from about 20 yards as her boyfriend became table fare. All took place before 7:00a.m.

These things are great to put any scent out you want. I personally put out Tinks 69, and I put them out around trails, feeders, stand or any place that I can get a good shot at a deer. They are easy to put out. You hang them on any tree limb, but make sure it's on there or it will blow off in the wind. They are great to get scent out in the area that you hunt. Another good item from Tinks.

Hung four scent bombs around my tree stand, which is located in a hollow. The day was windy and around 4:00pm a buck and a doe stood about fifty yards from me. You could see them sniffing the air with their heads upright. It seemed to keep them in the area and eventualy the doe crossed and then then the buck followed. After a 40 yard shot with my crossbow -- meat in the freezer. First shot with my crossbow at a deer and the biggest buck I've ever killed. He'll be on the wall sometime this summer.

Like all Tink's products, this is good product and eliminates need for noisy sealed plastic storage bags. Wicks are washable and can be used for many seasons.

You can get the Tink's 69 with 1 scent bomb or do like I did, buy both. I also bought the 3 scent bomb package for use with my other scent lures. It works for me.Thanks PaulA:Â
The scent bombs I used are aerosol cans, pre charged. You can press and lock the nozzle down on the ground and it will run until empty, or take it in the tree with you and spray 5 to 10 second bursts during the hunt. Great stuff.A:Â
The scent bombs come unscented. You must purchase scents. I have used these for years I usually buy 15 a year. I like to use them during the bow season for yardage markers and use just your average doe or buck urine scent. I especially enjoy them during the rut and use the moon fire scent it really drives the bucks crazy, and gets them in close range hope this helps1 of 1
