At first i was critical of a inflatable decoy. after doing some research i bought it. i have had it 2 weeks and it help me down a nice buck already. without it i would not have had a shot at the buck. he spotted it from over 100 yards out, and all i had to was watch him put on a show until i was able to shot him. i would recommend this decoy, if you rattle then it adds a visual to your rattling. in 2 weeks i have had over 8 different bucks come to it, with one hitting it. it did not put a hole it hit, its a pretty tough decoy. its easy to set up with no noisey parts and very light weight.

"My hard plastic buck is fine for hunting my brothers farm, but sometimes i hunt public, so i needed a lightweight decoy, so i bought Mr. october at the local bass pro here near st louis. I will try him out this season. I know he's a big balloon, so I knew b-4 I bought him that if I just set him on the ground, the 1st big wind that came along will him send tumbling thru the woods. So i made a little frame for him with little round wood from the hardware store. (see picture). I then drive a little post into the ground, and tie the post to the frame. So now, I know he's not going anywhere no matter what. Mine came with a tie down loop between the front legs and the back legs. Thats how I attach my frame to the decoy. My frame makes him sit off the ground 2 inches higher, so I dont have to set the balloon feet directly on the ground, where thorns may puncture him. I got a bicycle foot pump to inflate him. Now here's the bad part---He's an inflatable, so he's got that odor that comes with inflatable rubberized-plastic things. So, first, I bought him early so I have time to let the odor fade over time. To speed up my effort to get rid of the odor, I took the balloon out of the skin (it's easy-it comes right out). Then i inflated the balloon, and gave it a good bath with scentless laundry detergent. Then I rinsed the balloon completely. Then I washed the outer skin BY HAND in the bathtub with oderless detergent. Then I rinsed the skin completely and let it hang dry outside. All that decreased the odor a lot. Now I'm leaving the balloon and the skin separated and putting them outside when i can to air out. So when I hunt, I'll spray the skin with scent-block, and hang a buck-urine wick under him. I think he'll be fine. He's so light, a 1 year old kid could pick him up with no effort. I hope some 4 pointer dont come along and attack him cause then i'll have to get the balloon repair patches out. I always try to rattle and grunt a decent sized buck in during the rut b-4 I let an arrow fly.
