Rated 3 out of 5 by timex watch over all i like the watch..but setting the time was a real pain.when i couldn't set, i gave it to my wife to try,it was the first time in years i heard her swear.if your younger and have good agility and lots of patience it should be no problem. i didn't even try to set the compass! A: 
The compass should work underwater with no problems. However, the customer should avoid pressing buttons while underwater as that can affect the water resistance of the watch. It shouldn’t be used as a diving watch, as it is not designed to withstand the water pressure from diving.
