Ever-Guard™ genuine leather is 10 times more abrasion resistance than traditional leather, heat-resistant up to 346ºF, and waterproof. Timberland PRO PowerWelt 6'' Waterproof Steel Toe Work Boots for Men feature a premium Ever-Guard™ leather, Goodyear Welt Cast-Bond™ construction, steel toe protection, and loads of comfort features to give you a great work boot you can wear all day long without regret. The structured premium waterproof full-grain Ever-Guard leather upper includes a waterproof membrane to keep your feet dry in any weather. The high quality upper is locked to the boot's dual-density polyurethane slip- and oil-resistant outsole with Goodyear® Welt Cast-Bond™ technology for a durable mechanical and chemical bond and enhanced torsional stability. The contoured tongue is center loaded with foam to relieve lace pressure. The anatomically-contoured insole sits atop an integral steel shank for support. The anti-microbial, contoured open-cell polyurethane footbed provides durable, resilient cushioning while a molded heel cup cradles the heel for top support. These boots have been really good to me over the past couple of years now. I really did get what I paid for. I purchased these back in Dec. 2009 and just yesterday I finally got a hole through the Ever Guard Leather. In my previous review I said that I'm pretty hard on my boots since I work in construction and they definitely have taken a beating over the years. No matter what I put them through they always held up and kept my feet comfortable and warm. Since my purchase I did have to replace the shoe laces and one time inserts, but overall these boots got the job done. I still only like wearing them with the ReahHead Lifetime Wool Socks. These boots with those socks are a perfect combination. Gotta head up to BPS now to get another pair. Thanks Timberland for making an awesome pair of boots.

0 break-in time...this boot was awesome from the first day I wore them in the field. Would recommend...I will review these boots again in a few months once I've gotten a real feel for the durability.

Just bought these today and wore them with the RedHead Lifetime Wool Socks and my feet were so comfortable and warm. With the wool socks it really gave a snug fit. I really like the extra room in the toe, it felt like I didn't have a steel toe at all. I wore them all day and my feet don't hurt. My last pair hurt a little for the break in period, but these felt great right out of the box. I'm really interested to see how the Timberland PRO® Ever-Guard™ Leather will hold up on the jobsite. I'm really hard on my boots and I need a pair that will take a beating. These feel a lot more sturdier then my last pair so we'll see. Thanks Timberland for making another great product!!!
