I wear hiking boots almost all the time. I have owned several different brands but i wanted a boot with an all leather toe area with a Gore-Tex liner. I have been disappointed with many other boots with rubber toe caps. They feel good at first but soon become very uncomfortable. I ordered these with an Alaska trip coming up and boy was I very happy. Timberland has a winner here. They were comfortable from day one, needed little or no break-in, and are very waterproof. I hiked and fished for 10 days and never had a issue. When cleaning fish and washing dishes on the edge the rivers, the boots were soaked on the outside but stayed totally dry. I hope they wear as good and long as they feel and wear now. Thanks Timberland and Bass Pro!

The Timberland® Chocorua is a great lightweight and durable hiking boot. I really wanted a hiking boot with gortex and this boot has it all! The price is great too compared to other shoes with similar features. I definitely recommend this boot to anyone going hiking!

these boots provide absolutely excellent support. i have Achilles tendon issues and these provide support beyond any other i have found. they have very little flex in the middle.
