I was a serious hunter years ago but life got in the way and haven't been hunting in years. I am getting back into it now and needed a couple of rifles to hunt with.
I went to the local BP store and the salesman mentioned the Tikka. I was impressed with the weapon but money is money so I went home to do a little research on the brand and model.
The next chance I had, I was back at BP and purchased this rifle based on the apparent quality of the weapon as well as it's Sako heritage.
I have now put about 200 rounds through this weapon and I can tell you that in my opinion it is superior to any Remington, Browning, or Ruger of similar design. The thing is a excellent shooter.
Matched with proper optics I would not hesitate to take this weapon out to 700 stright from the box.
It's an excellent choice guys.
