What else can I say? It's Tiemco. High-quality metal. The barbs mash instead of breaking off which is a good test of quality for this style hook. Sure, Dai-rikis are much cheaper, but only because the materials are cheaper and inferior to Tiemco, Daiichi, etc.

It depends on how long you like the body of your buggers to be. I almost always use the 5262 exclusively on un-beaded buggers. I use the 3xl 5263 when I add a bead head or just want a slightly longer body. Some people prefer longer bodies like a 4xl or even a Tiemco 300 6xl. Personally I find those too disproportionate for wooly buggers.Top 500 Contributor

The 5262 is a 2X Long hook. If your bugger pattern calls for one, this will be just fine.If your bugger pattern calls for a 3X Long hook, try the 5263, same shape, just longer shank. I keep both on hand for tying a variety of buggers.
