Tie-Fast Knot Tyer
Great Knot Tyer
This knot tyer is a great addition to any tackle box. I suspected it might take a bit of practice to use it properly, but the first knot was perfect. Works well on bare hooks and any lure. Go to You Tube and search "nail knot tool" and watch the demo; it is just as easy as it looks. If your fingers and eyes don't work the way they use too and you have trouble with secure knots, then get this little tool and leave knot troubles behind.

Excellent Knot Tying Tool
I have been using this tool for 8 years. I have to say it is the best knot tying device I have ever seen. It will tie the nail knot which is in my experience is one of the strongest, best holding knots there is. I does not weaken the line at all. I have tested the knot on many different types of fishing lines and had the line break under testing in the line instead of the knot. It does not get any better than that. The tool is also excellent for connecting braided lines of all types to monofilament and fluorocarbon leaders for that stealth presentation. The nail knot the tool ties is very compact, incredibly strong and it flies through rod guides effortlessly. The tool is very easy to use with just a little practice. I highly reconmend it to any angler who appreciates the iportance of havin of have a strong dependable connection to their hook and lures.

Great for the ol' dude
I bought this knot tyer because I can't see what the heck I'm doing most the time tying knots and don't want to carry my glasses around fishing just to perform tying knots. This device makes it much, much, much easier to tye a knot. If you have this problem I believe this little tool will really make your life easier. It has for me, knots appear to be secure as they get so far. Well worth the cost for sure!

I added this to my fly vest (simply because I had an empty spot I needed to fill). It serves its purpose well and I have grown to like it a lot.
I would have given it 5 stars but for the documentation that accompanies the tool--it does not supply completely clear instructions on its use--it has them, and illustrations, but they are so small and poorly printed that it is almost impossible to make them out.
