The anchor was light weight and wouldn't hold anything not even with chain and 100ft of rope tied to it. Anchor was a big disappointment. I wasted a trip to the lake because i couldn't keep my boat in place. Bought a 20# river anchor it holds....

I bought two anchors and one ring on one anchor did not allow to slide through to the bottom. This should have been tested prior to shipment. Who wants to buy a faulty anchor and needs modification after shipment.

Anchor barely fit in the storage box, but other than that no problems at all. Sticks on the first drop and held well all day. Boat is a 21ft WA Trophy.

I use the 8# version on my Proline 22 Walk with 6' of 5/8"chain and 3/8 line. Had it offshore yesterday in the highest winds yet (20+ mph) in about 70 feet of water. The anchor held on the first try with about 200' of line out. Just find the fish, motor upwind and set it. You can fish all day and not worry about slipping.
