Quik-Set Anchor Anchor barely fit in the storage box, but other than that no problems at all. Sticks on the first drop and held well all day. Boat is a 21ft WA Trophy. March 30, 2010
Good anchor These don't weigh much, but they do the job. About 6" of chain is mandatory. Leave yourself some slack so that when you are ready to pull it up, just pull until straight over it. Drop the slack and that will cause the ring to slide down the shank of the anchor. Then when you pull up, it will lift from the bottom of the anchor, and that will pull out very easy. May 15, 2008
Best anchor the cost I use the 8# version on my Proline 22 Walk with 6' of 5/8"chain and 3/8 line. Had it offshore yesterday in the highest winds yet (20+ mph) in about 70 feet of water. The anchor held on the first try with about 200' of line out. Just find the fish, motor upwind and set it. You can fish all day and not worry about slipping. October 19, 2008
almost lost the boat This anchor will not hold anything. I thought I could drop anchor and pull the boat to the dock but the anchor would not stick in the bottom. I had to swim to the dock with the anchor rope to get the boat to stop drifting out to sea. Tried it on the ground and it wouldn't hold there either.... July 1, 2008
