Thompson/Center Cheap Shot Sabot Bullet
cheap shot sabots
I bought 100 of these for my .50 and for my .45. I used the .45 the first time this year and these bullets are excellent. After sighting in at 50 yards I knew these would perform well.I got excellent groupings.I took a small buck at 60 yards using 100 grains of loose powder and the bullet entered in the left hand chest cavity leaving a 2 inch hole inside. The bullet went through one lung the liver and I thougt it had came to rest in its stomach until my wife was cutting up the hind quarters and found the bullet. It had mushroomed to about the size of a dime but still held together.I will not buy expensive bullets again

Dead right there!
I have been shooting a Knight .50 cal disc rifle for many years and used to use Knight blisterpack cheap bullets for whitetail. They quit making them so i gave these a try. I just got back from hunting and shot 7 deer. 6 were DRT and I have one run about 15 to 20 yards.
I tried T/C Shockwaves, Honady, etc. These Cheap Shots are much easier to load, meaning a lot less resistance to seat the sabot in my Knight.
These are probably the best deal in black powder shooting.

I picked up a pack of these for practice and decided to use them this season.
Wow!! is the only word that discribes what they do with a lung shot on a white tail.
I took two deer with these and neither one of them did anything but fall down where they stood.
I like a round that doesn't let them go 20 to 50 yards into a swamp or down to the bottom of a hill.
The perfect round for a white tail.

Cheap Shot Sabots
Don't let the name fool you, Cheap Shot Sabots are no-nonsense, great performing bullets. Great accuracy for the range AND great performance in the field. The hollow point does the job on deer! My father and I have taken several deer over the past few years with these bullets exclusively. This is the only bullet we use, and will continue to use, both at the range and in the field.
