Thompson/Center Cheap Shot Sabot Bullet
An economical choice for the range. Use these all-lead hollow-point .50 caliber, 240 grain bullets for target shooting, then switch to the jacketed hollow-point high-performance rounds for the hunt. Point of impact will be the same at a fraction of the cost. 20 pack.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Bbuck Good! Great for target shooting and even hunting there is nothing wrong with these sabots compared to the high prices of the other sabots out there . They will take down a deer just as easy as any of them December 19, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Knockaround5 Good Bullets I don't shoot any other kind of bullet out of my muzzleloader. They shoot very well and the price is right. April 22, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by TheVirginian Dead right there! I have been shooting a Knight .50 cal disc rifle for many years and used to use Knight blisterpack cheap bullets for whitetail. They quit making them so i gave these a try. I just got back from hunting and shot 7 deer. 6 were DRT and I have one run about 15 to 20 yards. I tried T/C Shockwaves, Honady, etc. These Cheap Shots are much easier to load, meaning a lot less resistance to seat the sabot in my Knight. These are probably the best deal in black powder shooting. December 4, 2011

Details:I have always used powerbelts and did not know if using lube is requiered with these sabots.
A:No, not needed any lube for saboted bullets. Sabots made of "self lubricated" material.
For the best performance do not use lubrication with sabots!
