Essential gear for the night-stalking walleye hunter. Long-lasting lithium battery produces a glow that's 20 times brighter than, and lasts twice as long as, most other lighting systems. Can be rigged as a fixed float or a slip bobber. Battery included. Red light.
Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Lost it first night Somewhat dissapointed in these. First time I used one and I had two major problems: 1) The LED light turned on when I pushed down on it, but I found it was jammed and wouldn't pull back up again, so I knew I was only going to get one use out of it... but that didn't matter. 2) Took it fishing for GAR Pike and had a nice hard strike, sadly the bobber broke off and I ended up only retrieving a piece of it back. Dissapointed it wasn't stronger. July 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 2 years and yet to replace a battery... I have had this for 2 years now and I have not replaced my battery yet. It works well, and stays attached. The only somewhat negative thing is that it is a little bit heavy, but other than that no complaints! June 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great float! I got this float last season for night time striper fishing! All i can say is this float works very well! The only thing I did, was remove the spring and use the float a slip bober! The battery with the light last at least 24 hours! And the salt water does not affect it at all! I rinse it off along with my tackle, so I guess that helps! Try em there worth it! January 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great so far The batteries arrived quickly and were as expected. I am using them as lited nocks and so far I am very impressed with how they look! January 1, 2013

It really depends on the amount of weight you have under the hook. I catfish with the 6inch with a ounce of weight. That would sink the 4 inch. As for the fish type you want to make sure the type of fish your fishing for can pull the float under.

There isn't a definite answer for this one. The rigs that you use with a slip float can vary greatly. However, if you want to fish deep and need a heavy weight below the float, you will need a big enough float for the weight you are using.

Basically the deeper you want to fish the bigger the float, and the farther you want to cast, the bigger the float, and lastly the more heavy your line is (and the rest of the tackle you are using) the bigger the float The type of fish doesn't matter., though the size does since that determines how heavy the rest of my tackle is.

Details:
I recently purchased two packages of the replacement batteries. They are not like the batteries that come in the package. I don't know how to use them. Essentially, it looks like a battery w/a stem. There is no visible light. Am I suppossed to pull the top off an old battery and insert the new casing? Please provide details!

I'm not sure what you have purchased. The proper replacement has the LED attached to the battery itself. Its one piece that does not seperate

You should be able to just pull the old batteries out and put the new ones in.. The light should come up when you pull on the light itself

You get one battery/LED when you purchase the bobber itself. Replacement battery/LED's are sold 1 per package.
