A great gift for that active outdoorsman who is outside whenever possible, ThermaCell Mosquito Repellent units provide silent, odor-free, portable, hands-free protection from bothersome flying insects. Powered by a butane cartridge (included), this convenient unit heats a small mat containing the synthetic repellent allethrin to create an area of invisible, odorless protection. Containing 50 times more of the same chemical repellents found in mosquito coils, this unit gives you an area of protection that extends out to 15' in diameter. Cordless and portable, the ThermaCell unit features a more ergonomically designed casing than previous models, with a narrower grip for easier use and quieter on/off button. Low glare matte finish. Lightweight 7.1 oz. with full butane cartridge. Unit protects up to four hours per mat (Heats mats up to 12 hours per butane cartridge). US Army tested and approved. This unit also comes with a detachable swivel light that easily attaches to any Thermacell unit, hat, or belt. Lightweight 1.1 oz light features four white and four green LEDs to provide a 15' beam of white or green light. Runs up to 30 hours. Color: Olive Green.

Rated 4 out of 5 by good product I love the light. I use it all the time. The ThermaCell works well. You have to stay in one place for a while for it to work. If you are moving all the time( out of the 15' X 15' working area) it will not work. This is really made for sitting in a blind or around the camp. June 6, 2012
