I used my ThermaCell insoles while riding my horses in the frigid temps of Wisconsin. You'll want to make sure you have room for the insoles in your boots. Because I can't wear roomy boots while riding I was concerned there wouldn't be enough air etc. but they worked perfectly. I loved the fact that while I was in the heated barn I could turn them down or off and while riding outside, I could crank them up. They were put to the test because my feet can get very cold in the saddle but I actually wasn't afraid to have my feet hit the ground when I was done! Nice product!

Just right would best state the level of heat these warmers put out. Used many products over the years and most just overheated my feet and I had to shut them off and froze, back on again until I was cooked and off again, etc, etc. These are "just right" as I stated above!! Great product.

This is an excellent product. Through the years I have tried a variety of feet warming products. These are by far the easiest and best to use. Having the ability to shut warmers off and adjust heat depending on your activity is excellent. Keep the warmers off on your way to stand and once your sitting in the cold just turn them on. Very happy with this product.

As a hunter for many years, my biggest challenge has been cold feet. I purchased the ThermaCell insoles in Dec. 2012, used them twice during 14 and 16 degree weather. While sitting still in my tree stand, they kept my feet very comfortable. They don't get toasty warm like an electric blanket, but they do keep them comfortably warm. I would recommend them to anyone who spends time out in the cold, whether hunting or working.

Because these are not HOT, and generate 100-110 Degrees at best, I am not a doctor but can not see why these would be harmful for circulation issues in anyone's feet! I would think this would be the safest way for conditions like Diabetes!Answers

Clean only with a damp cloth. Do not submerge insoles in water. Insoles are water resistant, not waterproof. If insoles become submerged in water, air dry before using or charging.

I would not suggest. It would be nothing more than wet wash cloth with OxyClean or even better yet, a scent free laundy soap. I would never submerge until further advancements in design.Details:Â

Can you use the thermacell heated insoles with felt liners and if so do you use them inside or outside the liner

There are two ways: if turning off for an extended period of time, use the switch on the heel of the insoles. If for a short period of time, use the "no heat" setting.A:Â
There is a power switch on the back of each insole you simply flip the switch to off. You can also switch to "No Heat" on the remote control.
