Had trouble finding gun racks that would work in my 2012 F150 extended cab. This was perfect for the back seat since the extended cab part isn't used very often for people, mostly gear. This rack hangs just low enough so the folded up seat doesn't interfere with a rifle scope. Rifles are easily accessible. The hooks that hang over the back the seat were a pretty tight fit. Took some work to get it down behind the seat due the truck design, but finally got it. Other than that it worked like a charm. Bought the same brand rack that hangs from the front seat head rests.

This is a excellent product, you can keep your long guns out of view and easy to get them in and out of the vehicle. The gun rack easily moves from one of my trucks to the other with no modifications. I have even used it on the backseat of my UTV. The rack is constructed very well and will not mar or scratch any of my weapons that i have placed in it.

First of all the hooks on the rifle rack for the back seat in the Jeep were not quite wide enough to slip down normally and the hook part that holds the rifle had to be widened.
