Rated 5 out of 5Â by Bigpage Best boot ever for a high insteps
This is the best boot I have ever worn. I can't fit into any 16'' rubber boots because of my high instep. The muck boot allows me to wear them. Winter time my feet have never gotten cold and in the summer they have never gotten hot. I use them for boating, hunting, and work. They are light weight and durable. I will never buy another boot.

These are my first pair of muck boots and definitely wont be my last. I hunt in Alabama where temp ranges from 20s-70s during hunting season. These boots kept my feet comfortable from 50 to high 70s. Haven't tried them yet in colder temps, but I am sure they would do fine with a good sock system. Also if you are like me with a wide foot these boots are great. I usually get 12 EE in my tennis shoes, got a 12 and these boots are comfortalbe. Held up great through mud, water, climbing ladder stands, and best of all they are quiet, no squeaking like some rubber boots.

If you want a Muck boot that offers snake protection I would suggest the Muck Woody Armor. They are built to be snake proof, whereas the Ranger is not.Top 10 Contributor

The Ranger is very similar to the Muck Edgewater in both design and temperature rating. The comfort rating is from 80 degrees to subfreezing.Top 10 Contributor

These boots are made to keep your feet dry, the warmth needs to be provided by layering of socks.1 of 1
