I like these boots, my wife bought a pair of women's the same time I bought my men's. Just got back from a 2 day hike to High Falls at Wanakena, NY. Got to the beaver dam crossings, I didn't even have water over the toe box yet and I felt that all too familiar feeling ...cold water. Hmmm ..We both had gaiters they worked great. Put up with wet feet though quite warm and had a great hike. When we got back to camp (High Rock) , I felt her socks and they were dry.....I wrung my soaked socks out. So why the same boots men's and womens the only difference did mine fail??? My feet were wet before the gaiters touched any water.
