Rated 5 out of 5 by ScottyMo Five tool All-Star This boot has been perfect so far. I've only worn them out on 2 hikes since I got them about 3 weeks ago but so far they've performed beyond my expectations. Took them on a 6 mile, nearly all switch back trail hike and right away I noticed how light and comfortable they are. My ankle and foot feels protected yet unexpectedly agile as well. They seem to breathe really well (never felt any uncomfortable sweat or claminess on an 80 degree day). When I was crossing a creek I misstepped and plunged my foot up to my ankle is the freezing water. I waited awhile to see if the Gore-Tex would live up to it's name and sure enough, I didn't feel a drop of water come through. Great shoe, a little pricey but in my mind worth the money. Oh and they look pretty cool too in the Dark Grey/TNF yellow, always a plus. The bright orange was a little loud for my taste. April 10, 2012
